You will take designs from first sketch through analysis, prototype and production hand-off, working closely with a small manufacturing team on the same site.
The role suits an engineer who likes seeing their parts built and tested, and who wants to learn from experienced colleagues.
What you will do
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings in CAD
- Run simple stress and tolerance analysis
- Support prototype builds and test campaigns
- Work with manufacturing on design for production
What you bring
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of design experience, ideally in a regulated industry
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar CAD package
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Right to work in the UK
Nice to have
- Aerospace or automotive background
- Chartered engineer progress
